May

May 10th, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

here we come. A lot of happening on this month, like an election on the 13th in my native land and my dad is running again as a town’s councilor, I wish him well and hopefully will get re elected again. He did some great things on his term, built school and just make it great. I really want to visit them again, I know planning is the key, kids are in school and need to plan it when they are off and stuff like that. Hopefully I may be able to visit them next year. It’s about time to do so.

Bye April

April 30th, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

Where did the month go? I wasn’t really having much fun but it’s time to say goodbye to April and welcome the month of May. Goodness, summer is just around the corner, it’s getting warmer and yes no more snow for a little while. Yeheey, since it really bugs me when it snows, it’s not fun driving but gotta drive since I am working. Let’s enjoy this season of change since change is the only constant.

Sunday!

April 14th, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

I am off today and feeling so lazy. So I am just taking my time and enjoying this once in a blue moon Sunday off. When you work at retail weekdays and weekend feel somewhat the same cause you are always working and it feels like everyday is a work day. I am getting used to it and getting better in dealing it. Kids don’t mind and hubz understand it that well. It’s work that needs to be done. So no complain. April is flying so fast, it amazes me how time flies.

It’s April

April 4th, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

Wow, it was just like yesterday that new year came, and now we are in April. Spring has sprung, I love longer days and shorter nights. Kids were just about to be done with their Spring break, it’s this week and will be back to school on Monday. We did not go somewhere, Asia is too far and one week is just a waste of resources. When you go to Asia you make sure that you will stay there for at least a month to make it worth your while. A week, nah, we are not even gonna go there!

cheap hotels

March 29th, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

Ok, this year we need a vacation. The last time I was on vacation was going to Asia visit my family but this time I told hubby that we will just do a vacation in the US. Since my son couldn’t g with his classmates going to DC, we might take hime there instead. Four of us and it should be fun. The last time we went to the east coast was 2007 and the kids were pretty young then. They were ages 6 and 8, now my son is 13 and my daughter is 11. So this age is the perfect age to go back and enjoy the east coast region. We are thinking of flying to DC, then from there rent a car and hotel, then go to Maryland and Pennsylvania. My husband is from Pennsylvania and once you get to DC you just can drive from there to Pennsylvania. That’s what we did last time and it was really fun. I like it a lot in fact we ended up going to Pittsburgh. I want to do it again now that the kids are older and interested about knowing the 50 states we can start from there.

We do need a place to stay and for sure we will be able to find some cheap hotels around the area. I told hubby to check out somewhere in Maryland cause that’s where we stayed last time for a couple of days and then drive to Pennsylvania, no problem there will lots of hotels there too. I love the east coast, hubby’s daughter lived in Boston and I don’t mind visiting them also. Pretty sure this summer is going to be fun with lots of travelling in mind. I can’t wait to do it, enjoy and get away from work and be refreshed. We need it, that is what life is all about, work and then have fun. So for sure, it’s going to be fun. Have a fun summer everyone!

I’m home

March 29th, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

I started early today but only five hours so it wasn’t that bad. It was a busy morning, and thank God I survived. Home now and the kids are home also. I stopped by at Walmart and did some grocery shopping, I thought it’s gonna be packed since it’s Good Friday but nope, got in and got out pretty fast. We might take the whole family to dinner tonight @ Olive Garden so that is kind of exciting.

Brother’s B-day!

March 23rd, 2013    Posted in Uncategorized

So many birthdays on this month and today is my younger brother’s birthday. I sent a little gift for hime and wishing him great adventures in life. Being so far away from them is kind of hard but they are always in my heart. I have a family now and they have their own so we just have to do what we can and work out things. My son can’t wait to visit them again but I told hime we need to save cause the fare is quite expensive this time.
