Trick or Treat!
October 31st, 2008

It’s trick or treating night and the kids are all ready to get more candies. Surprisingly, the weather has been great, you don’t even need a thick jacket to go out tonight. I remember last year, it was freezing, snowing and just ugly. We will see how far can we go tonight, it’s a pretty night actually. Depending what time we’re done around our neighborhood, I am planning of taking them to the nearest mall to have some more fun. I heard that the nearest mall where we lived has a lot of activities for the kids. Story-telling, face painting, custom contest and all that good stuff. It will be fun to go there somehow, I’ll check if they will like it and will still be in the mood for fun. My little boy gets grouchy and will just make life miserable. No fun, I’ll end up in a bad mood. Sweet turn sour! hehehe. Happy Halloween everyone!

I am hooked on this k-drama called East of Eden. I love the characters, and the story is pretty amazing. I can’t help myself crying from time to time though. One thing I learned is, how hard it is being poor. Everybody will step on you and they don’t even regard you as a human being. That’s pathetic, it should not be that way. But I know, someday, somehow the poor ( this poor guy) will become great. Yeah, it’s just a drama but it did happen in real life. I can’t wait to see the end of it, it’s very addicting.
Now, I have trouble thinking what’s for dinner? Maybe, i will try asking the kids what they want, and take it from there. Hubby is fine with his roast beef sandwich, he is trying to drop some pounds, LOL! Just trying. He is in some kind of diet. Hope it works this time. Have a good Tuesday!

Kaya has a playdate today and she is so happy about it. In fact, we took her friend to a fall festival and the two of them had a blast together. Now we are back at our house and they are playing, singing, everything their heart desire. Hubby is not home, I wonder where he is. Maybe doing some grocery shopping or something. His cellphone is off so I wonder if it’s low bat or what? I have to take her home (Kaya’s playdate) real soon, it’s getting late and it’s about time. I wanted to go to a friend’s house, they were cooking some filipino foods but it’s more unlikely. The kids are here with me and my son doesn’t like to go anywhere.
Hope your weekend is fun so far, take care everyone!

A very busy Thursday I may say. Been on the road the whole morning and also in the afternoon. I also helped do some projects at my kids school. Tired but a good one. I finish doing some stuff that needed to be done, and I feel good about it. I don’t have to worry anymore and wonder if I can do it. I did it, eventually. Hubby called and said that he won’t be able to take our son to his cub scout meeting, he will be late getting home. Of course I have to take him there once again. That’s okay, it will just be a meeting and not do some projects, it’s fine with me. Busy life indeed, I am thinking what to do for dinner but since I have to go somewhere, I will also stop by and get some pizza on the way. That is quick, less headache and dinner will be ready in an instant. LOL! Have a good afternoon! Take care.

A new week, so far so good. I was awake way early than expected. We went to bed early then waking up early was just fine. My little girl who is a sleepy head was awake the same time I did. She told me, Look Mom, you don’t need to wake me up. Oh yeah! that’s great. A little foggy this morning but it wasn’t too bad. Took them to school and I am glad there’s no traffic. B and C are off but tomorrow B will be back, so expect a big jam again.
They will be having a swimming lesson this afternoon, I am trying to get everthing ready and in order. I was thinking of letting them finish this session and I will enroll them again comes spring time. I’ll have to wait and see. I’ll find some other activities for them in the winter. Kaya might do music lessons, and I’ll check with my son what he wants to do. Good morning!

I have a big decision to decide today. LOL! I am not sure if I will go to a party or to a fundraising. Both will be fun and for a good cause. Hubby offered to take the kids to the fundraising while I’ll go to the party and enjoy myself. He told me, this is my little break so I should go. It’s a surprise birthday party for a newlywed friend, but the funny thing is I don’t know how to get there. Arvada is pretty far where I am. It’s Friday and traffic will be bad. I have never driven in that area. We’ll see, maybe someone will be kind enough to pick me up.
And, oh by the way, the weekend is going to be great. High 70′s weather, so hubby is thinking of taking us to Boulder and have some fun. We haven’t been there for a long time, kids love it there. Ok, got to go, I need to check on something and finish a project, it’s way overdue. Have a good morning and enjoy your weekend!

It’s Wednesday and in a few days weekend is here. I hope this weekend will be sunny and bright. Looks like it is. Planning of going to a corn maze and do some pumpkin patch. Actually, our church has a pumpkin patch but my son wants to be adventurous and go to a corn maze. We went there last year and we had a blast. It was great. If the weather permits, going there will be another fun experience for the kids.
I haven’t talk to my friend who just had a surgery. The last time I called, her husband answered the phone and said, she is resting and just call her back later, if I have the time. I did not bother to call back, maybe this weekend, when she feels a lot better. I am glad she is doing fine. I might visit her again soon. Have a great day everyone and keep warm!

I visited a friend last night who was diagnose with breast cancer. She will be having a lumpectomy on Tuesday. I am glad it’s at the early stage and I told her that the survival rate is high and don’t worry too much. Early detection is crucial and hers was detected as early as possible. She is a very lively person. She said not to worry about her, but just pray. I told her if she needs help, she can count on me. She was kidding if I still like to see her when her hair fall-out. She will be put on chemotheraphy right after her surgery. I told her, hair or no hair, i’m not scared and she need not worry.
I will call her again and see how it goes. I wish her fast recovery. Life indeed is unpredictable. Never in her wildest dreams she ever think of being on this position. But it’s there and I am glad she is willing to fight. With prayers, everything is possible. And Tess, you are in my prayers. Goodluck to you. God Bless!

I don’t feel good today, kind of tired and my allergy is acting up. Today is the kids picture day at school and also my time to volunteer. I am procrastinating if i shoud go or not but if I won’t who will? There will a lot of things to put in the “Thursday Folder” and the teacher really needs me to be there. I don’t think telling her at the last minute, that I can’t come is such a good thing. I should have done it yesterday. Oh well, better get ready and get it done and just do it.
I have lots of e-mails to take care of, my mailbox is almost full and some of it are just nonsense. And also some phone calls that need to be returned. I haven’t talk to my cousin in Texas, I need to call her and see if the good news were for real. I really hope so. Got to go, and enjoy your day!

It went very well. Kaya was hoping that her teacher will be a girl but it doesn’t matter anymore, she was fine with a boy teacher. Joey was doing some back strokes that was quite good. I did not know that he can do it but I was proud of him. He does love swimming for sure. The class was about 50 minutes long, I thought he will get tired by then but he was not. In fact, he was swimming for another 30 minutes after the class. He had so much fun that he forgot that it’s about time to leave.
We left around 7:30pm from the Trails. It was way dark already. I don’t like driving at night but no choice, got to do it. It was a smooth drive going back, no traffic. I wanted to stop by at Burger King to grab some burgers but they don’t want it. So we got home, and dinner is ready for us. Hubby caught me by surprise, he ordered our favorite take out. It was indeed a very nice day!
