Hubby needs a haircut really bad. As you know, he has a curly hair but for quite sometime it hasn’t been cut. I keep nagging about cutting it but he refused to do so. hehehe. So today I told him, it’s the New year and if he won’t get it cut we are not going to a party. It’s an ultimatum. He agreed to do it but first he has to do this and that. Whatever, seriously, I am not going to any party unless he cut his hair. Welcoming a New Year with a new haircut somewhat brings a new outlook in life 
. Is it not? hehehe. Anyway, I am still here sitting and doing some blahs, kids are asking Mom, are we going somewhere today? Honestly, we need to go out and buy some New Year’s stuff like hats and whistle. Kids will love it. Ok, I really need to get up now. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 
Did you ever experienced heel pain? I know hubby usually does. I really don’t know what causes it, sometimes I asked him if he did a lot of walking or standing that day but his response is usually no. As what my little girl said, goodbye 2008, hello 2009. Am I ready to welcome a new year? I supposed, it can’t be help. Whether I like it or not, tonight is the big day. I can’t wait to see the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve and can’t wait for the change to come. Hopefully it’s for the better and everyone will appreciate it. I am invited to celebrate New Year’s Eve at a friend’s abode tonight but I am not sure. I am having some kind of flu symptoms. Like my throat is dry and sore, and my nose won’t keep running. Kaya was making fun of me and telling me not to let my nose get away. I told her I have a runny nose and she said “Mom, don’t let it get away. I don’t feel like taking some medicine but I also discover that I have a fever. So no choice i will take some tylenol or something. Oh no! I don’t want to get sick on New Year’s. No way, not good. I’m hopeful to feel better before New Year gets here.
I know, I am such in a hurry for spring to come, but what can I do, Springtime is my favorite time of the year. I did not do much today, I wanted to clean up a little but was not in the mood to do it. Yesterday, I went to the Samaritan House and donated some clothes, shoes and jackets. And they were so thankful about it. They said it will help other families in need and I feel a little pinched in my heart, hearing about it. If only I have more, I could have given more also. But anyway, today I wanted to clean up some more and see if there’s more to be given away. But since i felt so tired, I will do it another day, hopefully. I even forgot to call my folks back home. I wanted to asked if they are ready for the “New Year”. Are you? I am. Take care everyone.

Kids were asking if we are going somewhere today. It’s the weekend but we don’t have anything plan. My little girl wants to go to the mall and just look around. That’s what she said. I also wanted to go on this one particular mall. The last time we were there, they have a very nice 100% wool jacket that I like. I wanted to get it but change my mind at the last minute. I have been thinking about it, the price is not too bad and maybe I should get it. But then again, maybe it’s gone. hehehe. But, I’ll see. I am kind of sleepy right now, I should sleep for a couple of hours and maybe i will feel better after a nice nap. Kids are playing wii and that should keep them busy for a while. I’ll see.

I woke up around 9am. Hubby and the kids are still asleep. As usual, we went to be bed pretty late again last night. I got to break that habit and beginning tonight, we’ll try to sleep a little early. I was cleaning all the dishes and putting the pots and pans to where it belongs. It’s been messy around here from all the cooking that hubby did on Christmas Day. No chance to do it, this morning was my chance. And because of too much noise my little boy woke up and is asking for food. I was hoping everything will be over before they wake up but sometimes, things don’t usually go as planned. So I have to stop what I’m doing and make him some food. I can finish it up later. This is what we called life! LOL
