Just got off the phone. My cousin called and she said they are going on their honeymoon tomorrow to Siesta Key, Florida. Wow! It’s a beautiful resort perfect for newlyweds. She was married once but somewhere in between, something did not work out well and decided to part ways. Life is like that, full of surprises and life has to go on. I’m glad she found Jeff and I wish them well, happy and good life together. There’s always gonna be bumps along the way, but hold on tight and do it together. That’s my secret. I am blessed with over a decade of marriage and counting. I thank God for that.

I had an enjoyable weekend trip to Florida. The wedding went great, fall of joys and laughter and of course dancing to the max. Their first dance was romantic, to summarize it was one of the best. I am glad to be home. I had a great time there but there’s no place like home. I miss hubby and the kids, so glad to see them. I need a good night sleep tonight. I haven’t had a goodnight sleep since Thursday night. I need one really bad. The kids are getting ready to go to bed right now, they have school tomorrow and I am getting ready as well. Morning was fine, took the kids early and after I went home, have my breakfast and went to the mall to check on some stuff and did some returns. The weather is great again, in fact too hot to handle. I visited several places but couldn’t find anything to buy so I was just browsing from store to store. Finally, I got tired and decided to go home. Hubby was waiting for me, he needs help doing some docs and he was wondering where I went. He thought I was at the school helping that’s why he could not reach me. LOL! Good timing that I steamed the carpet. The weather is so lovely and my carpet is drying as fast as I want it. Hopefully, when the kids get here, then it’s fully dry. I am very happy about it. That way, all the hard work I did is not wasted. A big smile for me. Other than being tired and my wrist is hurting, I felt fine and glad that everything is clean and I don’t have to worry anymore. This year, my spring cleaning is not too late and I am proud of it. There’s just one thing I need to do and that is taking shower. I am glad I can finally breathe now. I have been busy the whole morning cleaning the entire house and that’s not enough, steaming the carpet. My hands are aching now, the steamer was so heavy that I had a hard time navigating it. LOL! But I did, everything looks clean and smell fresh. I did not even eat breakfast cause I want to get it done before the kids get back from school. And hopefully the carpet will get dry before they came or it will be a mess. If my son will see this, he is not going to let me alone. He already has a computer but it’s old since it was his sister. A few days ago he told me that he wants a laptop that has a built in webcam, widescreen, and wherein it’s easy for him to upload videos. A big deal for him because he loves to make videos and stuff. Since today is Friday my son is asking if he can have a friend over and possibly have a sleepover. I don’t know, I told him, you need to asks your dad. If he says yes, then I am fine with it too. So his friend is over here now and they have been playing wii for the most part. I am glad my little girl did not asks if she can have a sleepover as well. Snow is still pouring, and I am getting a headache. It’s getting pretty cold and no matter how I bundle up, I can’t get warm enough. The kids are telling me to use the heated blanket to keep me warm. They don’t seem to get cold maybe because they were born here and I came from a tropical place. LOL! But anyway, keep warm everyone!
