The kids are here now, Kaya is doing her homework right away because she has a swimming lesson. My son will do it later with his Dad. There are lots of spelling words to practice and so far she is doing good. I told hubby to take care of dinner cause I will be away and come back after her swimming class. It’s kind of far so it will take a while. He said , he will take care of it. We’ll see. Okay, I need to get ready now and be on the road in a little while, I think she is excited and is ready. Have a good afternoon and take care. It’s kind of gloomy so it might rain again.

While trying to get everything done, my tummy keeps growling. I can’t concentrate so I decided to take a break and eat some breakfast. Good thing I have some leftovers last night so I decided to have those. Laziness strikes again and I don’t feel like cooking this morning. Leftovers are lifesavers. Now I am full and is ready to do more rounds of multi tasking. I am also checking if there’s a career I would like, I really need to start my career, am not getting any younger and it’s about time. My stepdaughter just got back from her summer vacation in Hawaii. For sure, she had a good time. The place has a lot to offer, and when you are there the activities seemed endless. Well, my son finally got his wish. Another playdate plus sleepover with his friend Kevin. And oh boy! They were so loud. Laughing, giggling, playing the WII. Since I cannot go back to sleep, I decided to make some breakfast and get the morning started. Right now, they are eating and watching tv at the same time. It’s getting so hot on this lovely morning. I bet, it’s going to be a very hot day today. Hubby is thinking of mowing the backyard, we’ll see if he can do it, it’s pretty hot and probably not a very good idea to mow just yet. For some people it is. Especially right now that the economy is still not doing well. Lots of job losses, but yet people have lots of bills to pay and it’s non stop. I am glad that they said we are on the road to recovery, I am hopeful and is looking forward for that day to come. Finally it’s Friday. And as usual I woke up early, get the kids stuff ready and in a little while, I will wake them up, let them take a shower and get ready for the day. They have exams today and I am hoping the two of them are ready and start to face the day with all their might and hope. I remember when I was this age, I get stressed everytime finals came. I am glad my kids doesn’t have that kind of thoughts. It looks like they are always ready no matter what. Okay everyone, I gotta go, it’s time and wish you a very good morning ahead.

It’s raining right now and we are done with homework so my son is asking me if I want to play hockey with him. I thought we will be playing it on the WII but nope we have to do the air table hockey he has in his room. Funny thing is, it was a lot of fun than I expected. I was just scared he might hit my left hand that got a little burn a while ago from baking a cassava cake. But he was gentle cause he knows his Mama is not too good playing it. I am glad we are done and I can sit down now and relax. Hopefully, he won’t bug me again. It was fun but I am done for now. LOL!

The house we live in is about twenty years old and believe it or not it needs a lot of improvements. Hubby just put a new garage door and a new front door. He also put a new air conditioner in it. You know how it get so hot during summer. Aside from doing all that, there are still some area that needs renovation. The carpets need to be done, the bathroom and the one that is itching for improvement is the kitchen. The cabinets are getting uglier by the minute, totally, that’s what my little boy said. And most importantly the kitchen sinks. We found a couple kitchen cabinets that we like and now we are in the process of looking kitchen sinks and faucets.
