It doesn’t feel like it since they were off since Tuesday. Since my kids are in a year round school they won’t go back to school until January 05, 2010. They have a total of six weeks off. Pretty sure boredom will strike any moment so I am checking on some things to do during their break. The “Trails” has some interesting lessons offered, some hobbies that my little boy would like to do. So I am thinking of enrolling him on a “Climbing Tower” since he loves that kind of stuff. I was checking if they are offering snowboarding lessons but not yet. So this one will do, it will ease some of the boredom. My little girl also found something to be busy with it’s cookie decorating. It will be fun and I can’t wait for them to start. Have a good day y’all!
My stepdaughter’s husband is originally from Portugal and before they got married he took her there and introduce what a beautiful place Portugal is. She loved it and I think this coming holiday they are going to spend it in Portugal. That is awesome. But anyway are you guy’s thinking of visiting the place pretty soon? Today is the last day of my kids school and they are going to have a six weeks off. They are on a year round school that’s why they are off that long not to mention along “Thanksgiving and Christmas Break”. It’s included on that six weeks off. I took them early today and I stayed until after the ceremony. They both got an award and I one of the proud moms in there. Cheering them all the way. Although the sun is up today it’s pretty cold outside. I think on the 20’s. I can’t stand it, make my whole body ache. But comes Thanksgiving we are going to have a little break from cold cause it’s going to be on the 60’s. A lot better, just in time for shopping as well. We need to have a little break once in a while. To make life sweeter. Have a good day!

Took the kids early to school and after dropping them off, I wanted to do some grocery shopping but changed my mind since it’s pretty cold. I told hubby I will do it noon maybe that way the temperature will rise and I will feel more comfortable. It was way cold when I took the kids, my windshield is frozen, it was just cold to the bones. I love snow but coldness really gets to me. I came from a tropical area where 365 days a year is all sunny sometimes a little rain. But not like this, no way. But anyway, I have gotten used to it somehow this is my new home now and I can’t complain.
I was just checking the net surfing on some deals particularly postcards and holiday cards. Christmas will be here soon and I want to start mailing some the earlier the better. We had a very busy day today. Went to church and did some grocery shopping after. I think people are in the mood for the holiday, the stores are packed, it’s kind of hard to navigate from aisle to aisle, thankfully we got everything we need. Now we are home and I am making some stir fry for dinner. It’s my favorite dinner and it’s easy to make, no fuss, no hassle and it doesn’t take a lot of time. That’s why I like it. I need to call back a few friends who called me a while ago, guess we have another adventure this coming weekend. Have a great week ahead!
Some of my friend’s husband smoke cigars when there’s a celebration or when they feel like it. To them it’s fun and they enjoy from it. I should tell my friend about Davidoff cigars a famous smoke shop with premium cigars at discounted prices. By all means they can save and if it’s discounted it’s a lot better. Yesterday was chilly to the bones but today the weather is oh so fine. Just got back picking up the kids from school and a couple of friends too, now they are in my backyard running around getting rid of those energy that I wish I had them. It’s Family Fun Night @ Barnes and Nobles at Southlands, my little girl’s artwork will be on display but she said she doesn’t want to go. I told her it’s going to be a date with me tonight after we checked Barnes and Nobles and see her artwork we are going out to eat at Tokyo Joe’s. She is still not sure about it, instead she just want to play with a friend. We’ll see what happens later.
