My son is asking me when is “Mother’s Day” so that he can save enough and get me a cool present. I told him that’s nice of him for thinking like that and I appreciate it a lot. A busy day but everything was just fine. Kids are home now, no homework since they have CSAP so no pressure. I am also done making dinner and I think everyone eats. Time flies, we are midweek already by tomorrow, I can’t imagine. Hubby is getting busy which is a very good thing since there is lot of bills to pay and if you are busy it means something. Gotta check the kids backpack and see what kind of surprises awaits me.

My daughter is going to the library with her sister to borrow some books. I have been wanting to take her there, but I am always working if not I don’t want to go anywhere. She has plenty of books around the house but as a bookworm as she is, she must have read it all and bored to read it all over again. So I told her she can go with her sister to borrow some books (she has a library card) that for kids it’s fun to have. She feels like a grown up, borrowing books and scanning it herself. Kids just can’t wait to grow up.

I wonder why all of a sudden it’s gloomy and gray. Find out that there’s a brush fire fifteen miles away from us. Even so, I can smell the smoke, I wonder if it still going on. It’s been hot lately I think we need some moisture, snow is fine but please no blizzard. Already made dinner so no pressure and I can relax any way I want. It’s Thursday and weekend is here. We are going somewhere tomorrow, hope the weather will be okay. Sunny, warm and bright.

It’s Springtime and what is next? Summer, time to have fun in the sun and also vacation time for families. Where are you going this summer? Have you tried Outer Banks? It’s mine and hubby’s favorite vacation spot. Where beaches are all so glorious and divine. Can’t wait to go there, willing to bet now that the kids are older they will love it too. My kids are great swimmers so where else they can swim to their heart’s content? At the beach and the outer banks is our first choice. It’s a paradise for me.

Just got up and outside is looking so beautiful. The grass is starting to look greener that means Spring is working and summer will be next. I have a short shift today and then off for two days. Work again Saturday and next week. Kids will be back to school on Tuesday, so back to our regular routine once again. Time is so fast that sometimes I wonder. It was just Monday and now it’s the midweek. How crazy is that? Well, as they said be thankful and count your blessings everyday!

Do you have a Thyroid imbalance? I am asking that myself. Sometimes I just feel so tired, don’t know what causes it but the thing is, it could be a lot of things. Hubby was diagnosed with thyroid imbalance last year, he was just gaining weight eventhough he doesn’t eat that much. He was trying to lose weight but it was hard. Fatigue and weight gain are just a couple of symptoms but it’s always wise to go to your doctor and see what’s going on with you. There’s a treatment and you don’t need to suffer.

I was working whole day Sunday and then again yesterday. Glad to be off today, thinking of taking the kids to the library and borrow some books but my laziness strike again and all I want to do is eat and relax. The kids told me that they will just borrow when they return back to school next week. Fine with me as well. This week is their last week of being off-tract and come next week they are going to work hard again and by May it’s all going to be done and welcome a new semester.
